Since the 2017/18 season he sings in the solo ensemble of the Bonn Opera and also performs at the Leipzig Opera regularly.

Right in his first season on the Bonn Opera stage he was able to embody the leading role of John Whitcroft at the world premiere of the opera Geisterritter by James Reynolds, which will also guide him to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the summer of 2019.

Other roles in Bonn were Rev. Horace Adams (Britten, Peter Grimes), Remendado (Bizet, Carmen), Pang (Puccini, Turandot), Gherardo (Puccini, Gianni Schicchi), Don Basilio and Don Curzio (Mozart, Le Nozze di Figaro), Monostatos (Mozart, Die Zauberflöte) and some others.

As a concert singer, David Fischer last year performed Strawinsky's Pulcinella Ballett with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin directed by Sylvain Cambreling at the Berlin Philharmonie and sang Bach's St John Passion with the NDR choir and the NDR Radiophilharmonie in Hannover under Andrew Manze.

In spring he will go on an Asian tour with René Jacobs and the Freiburger Barockorchester as Don Ottavio (Mozart, Don Giovanni).

With his Lied partner Pauliina Tukiainen David Fischer gave Lied recitals at the Swiss Festival classique des Haudères, in Geneva and at the Schumannfest Bonn.

The year of 2016 David Fischer could complete by winning the great internaional music competition Concours de Genève.

Within the 48th Easter Festival of the Berlin Philharmonics, David Fischer made his début in 2015 at the Baden-Baden Theater as Trémolini (Offenbach, La Princesse de Trébizonde). The next year he travelled to Daegu (Korea) with the ensemble of the Bonn Opera as Jaquino (Beethoven, Fidelio).

David Fischer completed his singing studies in Freiburg with Reginaldo Pinheiro and took master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender.

The early musical education began at the age of three with the first violin lessons – 12 years old he won the German federal competition Jugend musiziert in the solo violin category.
